The latest Xenotone release is a unique dub plate edition of 1. The compilation was assembled by Blake Leyh and the dub plate was cut by Mark Filip of Null Spire Labs in Seattle. More of a Late Modern Anti-Capitalist provocation than a traditional audio product, the compilation gathers ten rare cuts of New Orleans music on two12-inch 45rpm discs. The jacket art features one of Harold Fisk’s 1944 Meander Maps of the Mississippi River.
